All About Me

This week we completed our activities on our five senses with our Taste Test.

Some of the food we liked....

And some of them we didn't!

We helped our friends get around
 And started preparing for Halloween
 With lots of cutting
 and threading

more pasting by putting our facial features onto our 'face
 Computer skills
 and hugs for friends

 even tried bathing our friends!

Next week we will be preparing for our Halloween Parade with more activities in class.
We will be making lots of decorations but if you have any you would like to donate we would be very grateful.
We ask that for our parade the children wear costumes without masks as some of the younger children get a little scared. Please send your child already in costume and we will change them if necessary later.
And finally a huge thank you for your support on our 'Pink Day', the children looked fantastic and loved being out of uniform for this event.

The Five Senses in Nursery.
This week we have been looking at our senses and trying lots of activities to Hear, Smell, Touch, and See.
We painted our hands to take prints

 And our feet!
We used lots of musical instruments

And went on a listening walk
We made our own musical shakers

We had to smell lots of foods and then guess what they were when we were blindfolded....we did really well!
