Colours colours everywhere!

This week we explored our secondary colours, the children got very messy when hand painting and mixing the colours.
We continued with our story of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? And I'm so proud of all the wonderful language the children are using while reciting the familiar lines of the story, all the way from brown bears to orange fishes!
The children have each made their own Brown Bear book and explored  lots of colours and textures through using a variety of collage materials and paint effects.

Let me read you a story
 Bubble printing our green frogs

Look what happens when I mix blue and yellow

I see a black sheep looking at me

Green frog, green frog, what do you see?

We love patio with the large bikes
We work together to get moving

Next week our stories will be Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister and Elmer the Elephant by David McKee. Again these stories can be found on youtube should you want to read them with your child.
We will also be starting rehearsals for our Christmas show. We will be performing as Stars this year. The costume required can be very simply made by using a large white T-shirt with a silver star painted onto it. Final date for the show will be confirmed shortly.
